# Was ist IC-OOC

IC und OOC sind Abkürzungen für folgendes:

IC: In Character / „Im Roleplay-Charakter“\
OOC: Out of Character / „Ausserhalb des Roleplay-Charakters“ / Du selbst vor dem Computer.

Du solltest beim aktiven Bespielen deiner IC-Persönlichkeit nichts persönlich oder OOC aufnehmen.\
Solltest du aufgrund einer Handlung „[OOC-Mad](/was-ist/was-ist-ooc-mad.md)“ sein, unterbrich die aktive Roleplay-Situation und entferne Dich aus dem Spiel. Sobald du Dich halbwegs beruhigt hast lese die oberen Abschnitte erneut und versuche in Zukunft IC und OOC zu trennen.\
Das ist hilfreich für die [Roleplay](/was-ist/was-ist-rp.md)-Erfahrung aller Beteiligten.
